Mission Statement

Rochester AM Rotary exists for the purpose of supporting Rotary International in achieving its goals through investment in the Four Avenues of Service, with special focus on our local community, the needs of challenged children and meeting the changing needs of our local community.

Rochester Rotary AM Provides

Club Service

Involves all of the activities necessary for Rotarians to perform in order to make their club function successfully. At the Rochester AM Rotary Club this involves a weekly meeting consisting of fellowship, club business, a program and breakfast.

• Friday Morning Breakfast Meeting
  The Golden Fox, 1115 Culver Road, Rochester, New York. (4-5 blocks East of Main Street)
  
• Time
  7:00-8:00 AM
  • Program: A 20 minute program of interest is presented at each meeting.
  • Communication: A monthly bulletin is handed out at the meeting.
    
  • Cost: Annual dues plus cost of breakfast.
    
  • Fellowship: Club picnic, Service Opportunities, and much more.
    

Vocational Service

Vocational Service is a description of the opportunity each Rotarian has to represent the dignity and utility of one’s vocation to the other members of the club.

The Rochester AM Club works with vocational projects including the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) and Hope Hall Junior Achievement.

Community Service

Community Service involves identifying needs in the Rotary club’s community and addressing these needs with service projects.

The annual golf tournament supports Hope Hall, Sunshine Camps and other youth activities of the community.

The club also provides children games at the annual Square Fair in the 19th Ward.

Rochester AM Rotary club also provides the Student of the Month award at Hope Hall which involves the student selecting a new book for the school’s library.

International Service

Working for international understanding and peace by promoting goodwill between all people.

Youth Exchange Student, Group Study Exchanges, and World Community Service Projects are some of the areas of international service the club is involved with.
